Sarah Jessica Parker hopes to kiss actors on screen when she`s 80
The 45-year-old is best known for her portrayal of fashion fan Carrie Bradshaw in US show Sex and the City. The series was about four women looking for love in New York, and included lots of x-rated conversations. Sarah Jessica recently finished shooting the second big-screen adaptation of the series, and loved every minute of it.
She is also thrilled to reprise the role of Carrie, and hopes she can continue playing such exciting characters for the rest of her life. "God, if they`ll have me! I hope so. Not just on screen. I hope that someone will kiss me at home," she replied, when asked if she sees herself kissing on screen when she`s 70 or 80.
Sex and the City has been praised for the frank way it discusses women`s sexuality. Sarah Jessica isn`t sure whether it has had as big an impact as many claim, and is just thankful she won the role.
"I?m not a good judge of how the climate has changed. I don`t get to see a lot of movies actually," she told British magazine New! "I would like to think that there are roles for women and an audience for women, and I know that our movie surprised people in terms of attendance. I believe that women will always go to the movies to see other women tell their stories."
